Description
Arc Flash protective Toric AmpShield® with HT™ nanoparticle lens.
Certified to ISO 16321-1 (successor of EN 166) and tested to APC 2 according to IEC 62819.
ATPV 15 cal/cm2 as per ASTM F2178.
The Toric shape allows for wide peripheral view, excellent downward vision and reduced internal glare. An integrated transparent chin protector provides protection from hazards from below, such as debris and splash. Permanent antifog & anti-abrasion coatings.
Patented ArcVent™ system enhances ventilation.
Weight-compensating slotted cap bracket reduces the weight imbalance felt while above the head in the stowed position. LeverLock® attachment system for easy shield replacement. Press-to-release slotted adapters for easy bracket removal.
Compatible with Paulson ALM™ flashlight system (sold separately).

Application
The product is designed to protect eyes and face, if used as intended, against the mechanical and thermal hazards of an arc flash during live working or when staying in the vicinity of live parts. It is not intended for arc welding, especially not to protect against long term high heat, chemicals or any other radiation than emitted by an arc flash.
